  Lending Panel will improve monitoring of lending
  to households and businesses. Individuals can
  also expect
• help through mortgage rescue and support for
  Mortgage Interest Schemes for eligible homeowners
  in difficulty
• a commitment from major mortgage lenders on the
  Panel not to initiate repossession action within
  at least three months of an owner occupier going
  into arrears and
• free and impartial debt advice through increased
  Government funding.
