  • YES, THIS MEANS DO PRIOR HOMEWORK!
  • WHEN CONDUCTING RESEARCH, BE SURE TO KNOW THE
    BASICS COMPANY HEADQUARTERS, COMPANY CEO AND
    PRESIDENT (BACKGROUND), PREVIOUS YEARS SALES AND
    REVENUE PLUS CURRENT FINANCIAL INFORMATION,
    NUMBER OF STORES IF APPLICABLE, MISSION STATEMENT
    AND ANY CURRENT NEWS.

CONDUCT YOURSELF IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER
DURING THE PRESENTATION AND NEVER NOD OFF TALK
WITH THOSE SITTING AROUND YOU. GIVE THE SPEAKER
YOUR FULL ATTENTION AT ALL TIMES. ALWAYS TURN OFF
CELL PHONES AND PAGERS. So, YES whispering in
your friends ear about how hideous your other
friends shoes are during a presentation WOULD be
considered NOD OFF talking!!

YOURSELF THEN ASK YOUR QUESTION.

MANNER AVOIDING THE USE OF SLANG, WORDS SUCH AS
YOU GUYS.

MAKE IT A POINT TO GO UP TO THE SPEAKER AND
INTRODUCE YOURSELF AND THANK THEM FOR VISITING
