Conclusions

• What is a conclusion?
• The final paragraph (or paragraphs) of a work of
  writing in which the writer may restate a main
  idea, summarize the points of the writing, or
  provide a closing remark to end the work
  effectively
• The conclusion should be at least 3 to 5
  sentences.

Satisfying Conclusions

• Your conclusion should bring your paper to a
  close.
• A conclusion reminds us what the overall message
  or topic of the paper was.
• You might want to end it with a personal comment,
  a quotation, or a call to action.

• DO NOT write your conclusion until the body of
  your paper is written.
• NEVER write, I have told you..
• NEVER write, I hope you have learned
• NEVER write, I hope you liked..
• NEVER EVER, write, The End

Bibliography

• A bibliography is a list of sources used in a
  research paper.
• It is also called a Works Cited List.
• Since we only have one source for our papers, we
  will add the information at the end of our papers
  rather than on a separate page.

At the bottom of your final page, please add your
bibliography.Type it EXACTLY like the following

http//www.iditarod.com gt. This will be posted
in the computer lab.

Completing your Checklist

• Dont forget to go through your checklist (pink,
  blue or green) to see that you have all the
  necessary parts in your paper.
• Check the parts off on the RIGHT side.
• Fill in the paragraph numbers for your reason,
  example, like or unlike, definition, and sentence
  patterns.
• Fill in three synonyms that you used for the word
  Iditarod.
• Have your parent or guardian sign the checklist
  after editing your paper.
