• He invented the photophone-transmission of sound
  on a beam of light.
• He invented techniques for teaching speech to the
  deaf.
• He had 18 patents in his name.
• He had a company named after him on July 9, 1877.
• Helen Keller was a favorite friend.
• At age 75 he received a patent on one of the
  fastest water craft in the world.

Alexander Graham Bell

• Because I made long distance communication
  possible, wars were won and communities
  prospered.
• I didnt change the path of history with this
  invention, I paved the way In 1880, I invented
  the first wireless communication, but it took 100
  years for society to embrace cell phones. Now we
  cant live without them!
