When I went skiing, parts of the mountain you
have to go up hill. To do that you have to
increase your speed. I had to do that, so I went
faster. I hit a bump and flipped in the air. My

My Baby Cousin

• I was waiting in the hospital for my first baby
  cousin to be born. All of a sudden I heard a
  lullaby. Then my uncle came into the waiting room
  and told us the lullaby means Alexis is here! I
  saw the beautiful baby and I was so excited.

The Black Charger Walking through the
kitchen these four relatives were shocked at the
bolt of lightning running right at them. It was a
black dog the size of a miniature pony. It sent
the kids right through to the family room couch.

Ear Infection

One Sunday morning I wake up and notice I have
pain. I go to the bathroom and look at my right
ear. Its all red so I go to my mom and she uses
her magic. POOF! The pain is gone but not the

FLIPPED
We were playing trampoline basketball on Toms
trampoline. Our team got the ball and I cut to
the basket. Tom threw me a lob pass for an
alley-oop. I caught the ball and went to dunk it.
Greg hit me in the legs and. I flipped.

Free Ice Cream By Alyson The cafeteria was
serving free ice cream. After I got my ice cream
I started walking back to my table. I slipped on
whip cream and fell. I started cracking up.

Japan Sony Building

• After a couple of days in Japan we went to see
  the Sony Building. When we got there we saw all
  of the new products. What I thought was really
  cool was that they had a chair that had speakers
  and went in circles. I finally got to sit on it!

Open Gym
I was at open gym. I had just arrived. I
couldnt wait to get onto the blue mats. I was
going to try a front handspring. I didnt know if
I could do it. Front handsprings looked hard. I
had to practice first. I tried for real. I did

Section 6 Champs!

• Last out of the game in the Section 6
  championship. I was on the mound ready to throw
  smoke. I fired the ball, the batter from Tamaqua
  made contact. My shortstop, Matt, picked it up
  and threw it to third. OUT! We won the Section 6
  championship!

"SKIMBOARDING"

My brother, his friend, and I were Skim boarding
at the Outer Banks. We were going fast, I even
rode a wave! In the meantime I threw my board
the wrong way and it bounced off my foot and flew
across the water. I had a broken bone.

The Stink Bug I laid down on my bed to read a
book. I got comfortable and turned my head to
the side. There I saw a stink bug. The bug was
on a flower and staring at me. I started to
scream! I killed the bug and flushed it down the
toilet.

The Crash!
We were driving on the bridge in New York. At the
edge of the bridge and we were struggling to get
in the lane. Finally a truck crashed into us .
The air bags flew open like balloons. We had to
call 911 quickly. It all happened as fast as a

The Retainer

• During one social studies class. Metal was
  poking my gum. I went to the nurse and she
  couldnt get the retainer out so she called the
  police. The police finally got the retainer out.
  I arrived at the hospital , I was informed that
  surgery needed to be done.

The wagon ride

• I was perched on a steep hill. I got in a wagon
  and looked at my cousins and sister. Marty got in
  and we started down. Seconds passed and we flew
  off the hill. There was screams, and a clang. We

• During a football game my friend Tom and I made
  a smashing hit on an opponent. The unaware ball
  carrier on the other team went down hard. He was
  injured pretty bad because Tom and I crushed him.
  Then we charged to the bench. The crazy fans
  were going wild!!!

Opossum

• One morning while my friend and I were playing
  tennis, we saw a family of opossums. Look, my
  friend yelled as a large opossum scurried by with
  three babies on her back. It was 6 am so we
  couldnt see well, but we saw her take cover
  under my shed.

One day my neighbor and I went sledding on a hill
near my house. We were there for hours! When the
snowplow arrived, we stopped the driver before he
plowed the hill. The snowplow man said that we
had forty-five more minutes. So after we decided
to go home.

• It was my first time skiing Vail Ridge. I was a
  little nervous because it was a double black and
  its very steep. Half way through I was hot
  dogging it a ramp little and going really fast.
  I span off a ramp and whipped out but was unhurt.

Pool Cover

• My sister invited her friend over to play.
  Amanda, my sisters friend arrived and we started
  to play limbo. While playing, a whacky idea
  popped into Amandas head. She grabbed my
  sisters bike and started riding it. She drove
  over the pool cover! Unbelievable, who would do
  such a thing!

Make a Wish

• I walked upstairs to get the mail. There was a
  tube with mail from Make a Wish. Couldnt wait
  to see if my family was going to Disney. Im a
  stone wall. My family gathered together to open
  it. My mom read it, Youre going to Disney! I
  started to cry.

Fractured Wrist

• One hot recess I was playing football. I
  bumped into my friend Dan. He fell over and I
  landed on top of him. My wrist hit the ground
  and it hurt badly. After school I went to the
  hospital. I fractured my wrist so they put a
  cast on it.

Tumbling by Myself at Cheer
I was at my cheer practicing my tumbling. I took
a deep breath and I ran with my heart pounding. I
did my round off. Nailed my back hand spring. I
glanced and people were smiling. Ed gave me a hug
relieved. I did it! I accomplished my task.
