6Na'ama Tchernitz, age 14.5 "The right to all
human rights" Every person wants to reach the
light, the sun, the distant horizon, but it isn't
possible to accomplish it all while you are busy
filling the basic needs of life security, food,
belonging and love. When you are a child, you
need the help of others, who will guarantee your
basic needs, which everyone is entitled of. When
they are filled the sky is the limit. Every
child is entitled to all human rights and it's
the adults responsibility to help him or her
fulfill them.

8Ma'ayan Rahmiel Age14.5 "The right to a good
life" I am 7 years old. It is not easy for me in
my torn life. My difficult situation demands a
lot out of me. I am not the only child that
suffers. There are many children in the world who
suffer as me. I am only a small quotation of
something larger that is happening. I am not
giving up. I deserve a better life. I will try
to make my life better. All the children who are
like me and myself will change the world!

and loving family Yarden is 12 years old and
Guya her baby sister is one year old. They live
in a nice house, with roofing tiles. The house
has furniture, games, television, a cozy light
and a warm and nice atmosphere. Noa is 10 years
old. In the past she used to have a family but
for different reasons she is alone in the world.
Actually she is not totally alone, she has her
doll Damka, which is the only thing she has left
from her home and family. Today is cold, it is
raining, it's dark and even the street lamp isn't
really lightning the street. Where will Noa and
Damka sleep tonight?

starving and I have no place toosleep, I hope to

don'tknow what I want more, food or clothes. I
must eat but I'm also coldand I need warm cloths
for the night. I'm not even sure I'll wake upin

at least in mydreams I have food. I love bread
and dream about bread all the time."The right
to live in safety is an important right for all
peoplebecause without safety people would live
lives in terror. The right to live a good life of
no starvation and to live in a houseis an
important right because without it people would
die really fast.

14Ariel Ravid age 14 "The right to freedom of
speech" "I had a dream" I dreamed that I was
able to say what I was thinking. I dreamed that I
was given the option to choose. I dreamed that I
was asked. I dreamed that I could defend
myself. I dreamed I had the right to express my
feelings. The dream didn't come true. The child
has the right to ask, to be heard, to suggest, to
express himself. When they say that it's not good
to hold painful things inside, they usually mean
personal things which seldom disturb you. There
are kids who live with the silence, and are
accustomed to it. I was privileged to be born
with freedom of speech.

lonely She doesn't have a name She doesn't have

conditions to live a comfortable life she
doesn't even wash herself. She doesn't have a

even though, she is still beautiful Beautiful and

19Noam Gilad, age 11.5 "The right to protection
and a warm home" The Hand that you see wants to
reach the "lollypop". The lollypop symbolizes
the good and sweet life. The round shape
symbolizes wholeness. The colors are the optimist
side of life. As you can see the child can't
reach the sweet so the privilege to live a good,
sweet protected life has been taken away from
him.

21Mika Kupfer age 14 "The right to protection and
a warm home" A child needs to be protected and
to have a sense of belonging, a warm place. The
boy in the painting is connected to a source
which takes care of his needs. But because this
source controls him, he is denied the opportunity
of developing his own identity and seeing beyond
the limits he is given. In this time of his life
when the person is a child, he also needs to be
given some space for actions, expressions choice
and creation. The director of his actions needs
to limit his interference in the child's life,
but at the same time, protect him for the danger
ahead.

23Lee Maayan age 9 "The right for joy and
happiness" There are sad children in the world.
They are sad because they are unhappy they are
lonely, they don't have any friends, they don't
have enough food and drink, they are hurting,
maybe deep down inside. I wish children could be
happier and wouldn't have serious problems. I
believe that if their rights are kept and
protected they would be happier, because when you
are not hungry or lonely or not in pain what so
ever, there is a chance you would be happy and
not sad and miserable.

25Lia Kupfer age 11 "The right to a warm and a
secure home" "Alone in the world" A girl that
has no home, she sleeps on the street. The girl
feels lonely. She must be dreaming of food, her
parents, whether they are still out there
somewhere. The picture I drew reminds me the
Holocaust when many children were abandoned.
There is a cold feeling in the drawing, of
someone who has been left with no food and no
parents. I think it is terrible, that such things
happen. I want human beings to take care of these
people and not disrespect them.

27Maya Aayalon age 12 There are children who are
not allowed to express their thoughts. There are
children who are not allowed to listen. There are
children who are not allowed to see what goes on
around them. Those children are sealed children,
the world does not touch them and they are not
touched by the world. The inspiration of my
painting is the three monkeys. The smart, who
warn society against its lack of listening,
speaking and seeing. Children should be allowed
to speak, hear and see. Adults also must talk
with them, listen to them and look at them.

30Avia Shavit age 9 "The right to a warm bed and a
warm home." The girl in my drawing is four years
old, she sleeps in the flowerbed around the tree
on the street. She sleeps outside, under the
skies, in the cold night. As a result of sleeping
for so many days outside in terrible conditions
with no home to go to and with no option of
getting some food, clothes or something to drink,
she becomes blurry and she might even disappear.
Like a creature that has nowhere in the world to
call his own.

32Goni De Yung age 11 "The right to live without
fear" A boy is standing on the ground and a hand
is reaching to grab him, without his permission
or willingness and without any right. The hand is
presented as much bigger than the boy, who is so
little. The boy can't prevent the hand from
taking him. He doesn't understand the situation
he is in and feels helpless. The boy feels like
an object. When I drew this picture I thought
that the world is full of fears and that each one
of us has the right to have protection and to
live his life without having to constantly
worrying what might happen. The boy is standing
on the ground which serves as an anchor, he
wishes very badly that he could stay where he is
right now, where he chose to be. The hand comes
and robs him from his wishes and his rights,
without acknowledging at all what the boy is
going through. This is the hand of fate.

34Hagar Bar Lev age 11.5 "The right to a good and
respectful life" When you humiliate a person,
when you use him, treat him like a slave, take
away his right to choose and the freedom to
decide on his life, when he is stepped over, when
his opinion is not taken into account, when he
loses the option to live in respect and
happiness, when he is disregarded THEN he just
begins to vanish, to be erased and erased and
erased When someone uses him like a machine in
a factory line, as just one more child to be
exploited and used, one out of a thousand more,
he erases him. He empties him from his content
and leaves only the outlines. He hurts his basic
right to an identity, his right to be treated as
Nadav or Noa or Roy or Ariana and not as "hey,
you!". No one has the right to erase anyone.

36 Yonatan Ben Yehuda, age 8 "The right to food,
clothing, a safe place to live and to have your
basic needs met". There is a poor boy and rich
boy. The poor boy envies the rich boy because
the rich boy has a lot money and with that money
he can buy whatever he wants food, water,
clothes, toys and he can also live in a house and
have a home.

38Shani Biran age 10.5 "The right to be
different" I see around me different kinds of
people white and black, kids and adults, poor
and rich, young people. Mothers, babies, people
with glasses and without, people who dress
differently, who like different colors, who are
interested in different things. Some of them are
together, so are lonely. In my family (from my
father's side) I am the only girl and I am
different because of that from the others.
Sometimes it's not so great to be the only one,
and that is why I sometimes rather spend time
with my mother's side of the family. In my
family, everyone (my parents and brothers and
sisters) are good in geography. I am not. It
bothers me a lot because my brothers like to
tease me when I don't know the answer to their
questions. Everyone has the right to be
different in his opinion from others, to dress
differently, to be interested in different
things, do decide things for himself.

40Ido Hakim age 12 "The right to keep my
religion" Fatma is a Muslim. She will never take
her vale off in public. Theresa is a nun. She
has lived all her life in the convict, prying a
lot and growing the convict's vegetable garden.
She helps young girls who come to the convict as
students. She dedicates her life to these
actions. Moishale lives in 100 She'arim, which
is an orthodox Jewish neighborhood in Jerusalem.
Every morning at around 6 he goes to pray at the
Wailing Wall. Soon he will be matched up with a
young, orthodox modest Jewish girl in Israel.

42Nadav Blumer, age 14 "The right to a supporting
family" There is a frame. In it there is a
picture. In the picture there is a family a
father, a mother and a boy. At first glance you
see an ordinary family. What can be more natural
than a warm and happy family, parents standing
near their child smiling to the camera? But they
are not smiling. This family is neither warm nor
happy. What you actually see in the picture is a
prisoner, bound in chains with a stripped shirt.
A prisoner locked in the threatening and
difficult reality of violence from those who are
supposed to protect him, his parents. He can't
cry out for help, he can't draw anyone's
attention to the fact that something is terribly
wrong here. The finger of his prisoners is light
on the trigger, any step can cost him his life.
The boy has no name, no face. He is just one out
of many children like him, who live a life of
fear and humiliation just because they are denied
of one basic right the right to a supporting
family.
43??? ?????, 14
44 Nadav Blumer, age 14 "The right to an identity"
Every child has an identity. a name, a face,
beliefs, opinions, way of thinking, things he
likes. He has the right to maintain this personal
identity, which is unique only to him, there is
no other like it in the world. When someone uses
him like a machine in a factory line, as just one
more child to be exploited and used, one out of a
thousand more, he erases him. He empties him
from his content and leaves only the outlines. He
hurts his basic right to an identity, his right
to be treated as Nadav or Noa or Roy or Ariana
and not as "hey, you!". No one has the right to
erase anyone.
45????? ?????, 8
46Ophir Blumer, age 9 "The right to live without
fear" The fear in the drawing is of a group of
people, while he is standing alone. They are
criminals, a fact which increases his fear. The
boy can't find shelter from the rain and the
group of criminals. His fear is expressed in his
face expressions. Each eye looking at a different
direction in a search for some shelter, they seem
in panic, the mouth is open wide with
astonishment and fear. The fog and the cigarette
smoke of the group add to the feeling of
inconvenience the boy feels. Each man has a cigar
at the corner of his mouth. The drawing shows
that people don't have the right to do what they
are doing to hit and to steal. There is a
feeling that the boy is really hurt. People think
that not many people get hurt by such incidents
but who ever undergoes such an event, is hurt not
only in his body but also inside, in the way he
feels

48Noa Amir age 10.5 "The right to be different and
accepted as such" I am Anna. I am 12 years old.
I feel very lonely at the moment. People think
that I am different. Is it because of what I
wear? Because of my hair? This is my favorite
tree. I come here whenever it's difficult for me.
Like I am different, this tree has a yellow leaf,
which is different from the rest of the green
leaves. Here it's nicer. Last year I came back to
Israel after living for a while in a different
country. There I felt lonely and sometimes a bit
different.

50Michal Rave age 14 "The right to a secure and
happy life" The boy has only one little wall to
cross over, in order to reach the good life. Just
a tiny wall, but he can't do it, because after
being through such long and exhausting journeys,
the wall is too high for him. I believe that
every child has the right for a good and secure
life, and he is not supposed to work so hard in
order to get this right.

52Ron Karpal age 8 "The right to a home, clothes,
food" More than anything I dream of a hamburger
in a bun with lettuce and vegetables pieces of
tomatoes and cucumbers. I don't care about toys
or games because I am hungry and I can't think of
anything else. After I have eaten, I would like
to have a good shower and new clothes because I
don't have the possibility of changing clothes
and washing the old ones. I simply don't have any
change clothes. The summer it was possible to
manage with no shoes, but in the winter it is
so cold, I can't even imagine it. At night I
sleep on the street, on the floor because my
family doesn't have a home. A house costs a lot
of money and we don't have a chance of getting
that kind of money.

I am a wooden doll, presented here to you,

56Tami Dori, age 11 "The right to a good life,
love and warmth" "Alone in the world" The girl
lives in a happy and good place, there isn't any
evil in this place. But the place she comes from
is bad and evil. The happy place is represented
in the diverse shapes, filled with movement,
freedom and offer many ways of expressions. The
diverse colors also create a warm feeling, there
are many color mixtures. On the other hand, the
girl in painted in black, which symbolizes
sadness, the girl doesn't have a face and she is
curved and closed inside her own body. The
contrast between the background and the
description of the girl emphasizes the feelings
the girl doesn't receive even though her
surrounding is happy. She doesn't receive
understanding, happiness, freedom and interest in
her well being.
