  • We offer a variety of workshops and activities to
    help participants feel more comfortable and
    confident or to learn a new skill
  • Wellness Classes are 30-minute hands-on sessions
    designed to teach the beginner or refresh the
    memory if youve been away awhile. Topics
    include
  • Basic nutrition
  • Basic fitness
  • Pilates
  • Rock climbing
  • Yoga
  • Step
  • Group fitness instructor training teaches the
    basics for guiding a class through a full body
    workout using solid exercise principles.

  • Sign Up Procedures
  • Employees will have access to the facilities at
    no charge the University pays faculty/staff
    access fees.
  • Employees must complete a Patron Application Form
    and Physical Activity
  • Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q). Forms must be
    submitted to University Recreation
  • for processing.
  • Forms can be obtained from the following web site
    www.apsu.edu/recreation/patron/patronindex.htm
    and clicking on the Enrollment Forms option.

  • Spouse/Dependent Access
  • Spouses and dependents may participate by
    completing the enrollment forms and paying access
    fees.
  • Fees are 120 per semester for individuals age 16
    and over. A 10 application fee covers processing
    and an ID.
  • Under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
    at all times with an access fee of 80 per
    semester.
  • Semester fees are payable at the Foy Center
    service desk (cash, check, debit/credit).
  • Payments made using Payroll Deduction (form at
    site above) will be at the reduced rate of 25
    per month for spouse/dependent over 16.
