2Purpose of the Interface
- To enable students to make effective choices when
selecting courses, by providing more background
information about the class and professor. - To assist the professors in providing more
effective and student-friendly courses, based on
the students feedback.
3Users of the interface
- Two types of users.
- - Students of the Rutgers University.
- - Professors of the university.
4Some scenarios of use
- A student is looking at the number of courses
available during the registration time, and would
like more help in making his/her choice. - A professor has a high dropout rate for his
classes, and would like to know why this is
happening. - A student has a heavy load of courses in a
semester, and would like to select one more
course that would be a little easy on time and
effort.
5Student Tasks
- Login to website.
- View comments on courses and professors.
- Post comments on courses and professors.
- Choose to leave comments as anonymous.
- To post comments, student must prove they have
taken the course. - Leave a general rating for the professor.
- Communicate with others in the forum if any
further information may be needed.
6Professor Tasks
- Login to the website with Professor privileges.
- View comments posted about them.
- Post comments about course.
- Upload course schedule or syllabus.
- Upload class statistics.
- Able to select between classes taught (if
professor teaches more than one class).

- This prototype is for the task performed by the
students.
