Contributions
The Chinese contributed to Canada by building the
railway. Even though 4,000 people were killed
from explosions in the tunnels and diseases like
scurvy even before the railway was finished in
1885. They were payed very little but still took
the job. They also contributed with sharing their
religion with us. Like china town in down town.

Impact on Canada
The Chinese impacted Canadian culture through
their food and Chinese restaurants in Canada some
food they introduced was Dim sum, chicken fried
rice and green tea. They also had many herbs and
odd pain relief such as acupuncture.We also are
well known with there Chinese New Year and we
follow there dog and cat symbols for when your
born. They also introduced chopsticks.The Chinese
are a very important impact on Canadian culture.
