• The invasion started on May 10, 1940
• Belgium was continuously bombed by the Luftwaffe
• They were under control of Germany after a few
  months

• The invasion started May 10,1940
• Germany had two major operations Case Yellow and
  Case Red
• Case Yellow German armoured units pushed through
  the Ardennes, to cut off and surround the Allied
  units that had advanced into Belgium
• Case Red German forces outflanked the Maginot
  Line to attack the larger territory of France
• On June 22 1940 an armistice was signed between
  France and Germany
