An ancient riddle

• The Sphinx asked the following riddle to all who
  passed What walks on four legs in the morning ,
  two legs at noon, and three legs at night.
• Those who couldnt answer the riddle were killed.
  One day, a man named Oedipus solved the riddle
  and destroyed the Sphinx

He correctly interpreted the morning as infancy,
when we crawled on our hands and knees Noon
represents the period of life when we walk on two
feet . Night refers to our old age , when we
must use sticks to walk.

  end Im nothing serious. What am I?

• So that if they make a mistake, no one will know

• When students enjoy the language, they learn it
  smoothly.
• Riddles will keep students laughing as they
  learn.
• The entire effort is great fun and should be a
  useful addition to a language lesson of any
  grade.
• Riddles can be a good way to practice vocabulary.
