is for people who have mental health issues and
are currently experiencing difficulty in
accessing suitable accommodation in inner city
Wellington.
- provides
- Community - based, affordable, furnished housing
for people with mental health issues. - Easy Access staff can assist/support tenants to
access longer-term accommodation options through
a support plan process and to access other
community service groups, such as Budget Advice,
Work and Income NZ, Mental Health services,
Employment and training options. - The housing is 'boarding house' type
accommodation encouraging and promoting tenant
self-responsibility.

Our education worker presents information on
mental illness from a personal perspective to
secondary schools, further education colleges and
other community organisations throughout the
Wellington region.

- stigma
- self-care
- alcohol and drugs in relation to mental illness
- recovery
