Math MEA Highlights
  • The percentage of students meeting or exceeding
    increased by 1 in 11th grade and 10 in 8th and
    4th grades
  • The percentage of students in does not meet
    category decreased by 5 in 4th grade and 6 in
    8th grade
  • One school increased by 29 the students who met
    or exceeded the standard, and another increased
    by 23.
  • At two schools, students with IEPs met or
    exceeded the standard
  • In four of six schools having the data,
    economically disadvantaged students met or
    exceeded the standard

Writing MEA Highlights
  • The percentage of students meeting or exceeding
    increased by 1 in 8th grade and 3 in 11th grade
  • At one school, there was a gain of 11 more
    students meeting the standard, and at three
    others there was a gain of 5-6
  • The percentage of students in the does not meet
    category decreased by 3 in 4th grade, 1 in 8th
    grade and remained the same in 11th

    Specialists collaborated with close to 100 of
    teachers
