Youth Exchanges
  • Age range 13-25 (exception 26-30)
  • Numbers min 16 max 60 (not incl. leaders)
  • Duration Project including prep., exch., eval.
    follow- up activity may last up to 15
    months Exchange must be between 6-21 days
    (travel days included)

Multi-measure Financial Agreements
  • Aimed at those who organise several Action 1
    projects over a period of 18 months
  • Can combine between two five activities of the
    same type e.g. 1 multi-lateral Youth Exchange, 2
    Youth Democracy projects and 1 Youth Democracy
    project
  • Same deadlines as other Actions
  • Applications to National Agency

European Voluntary Service
  • Individual EVS
  • Group EVS - up to 100 vols in same project
  • A project partner that sends or hosts MUST be
    legally established in a Programme or in a
    Partner Country
  • A Co-ordinating organisation i.e. applicant MUST
    be legally established in a Programme Country/SEE
  • Orgs in Partner countries cannot be Co-ordinating
    orgs (except SEE)
  • Every EVS Project MUST involve at least 1 EU
    Member State
  • Projects located in Partner Countries cannot
    exceed number of project partner organisations in
    Programme Countries in the same project

EVS
  • Accreditation
  • Any Org in a Programme/SEE country wishing to
    send/host/co-ordinate must be accredited
  • Orgs outside Programme/SEE countries can
    participate without accreditation
  • Expressions of Interest must be submitted
  • NAs are responsible for the accreditation of Orgs
    in Programme Countries
  • SALTO SEE RC is responsible for accreditation in
    SEE
  • Executive Agency is responsible for accrediting
    ENGOs international organisations

EVS
  • Age range 18-30 (exception 16-17 for those under
    inclusion category if tailor-made
    preparations, accompaniment follow- up
    are provided
  • Mentor MUST be identified in host projects
  • Length EVS projects MUST NOT exceed 24
    months including preparation, evaluation
    Activity abroad MUST last between at
    least 2 months and a maximum of 12 months

5.1. Criteria Funding
  • Activities Transnational Youth Seminars
    National Youth Seminars

  • Partners at least 5 Programme Countries
    (Neighbouring Partner countries can
    participate but not apply)
  • Duration Project may last up to 9 months
    activity must be 3-6 days (excluding travel)
  • Application TYS Host Organisation applies on
    behalf of ALL partners to NA where activity
    takes place (ENGYOs based in Programme
    countries branches in 8 or more other
    Programme Countries apply to Executive
    Agency) NYS to NAs (National level)/EA
    (European level)
  • Funding based on actual costs and may cover up to
    60 of total costs to a maximum of 50,000
