Liner Installation

• ESH issues with Copper Beryllium
• Be training for techs
• No sanding, cutting, grinding, machining, ect.
• Clean up afterward
• Support of liner during installation
• Push, Pull, or vacuum through the liner?
• Ledge at entrance
• Use of Stainless Steel strips to guide liner
• Any special tools we may need

Vacuum Tests

• Current vacuum at F0 on the order of 10-9
• Need to bake out Lambertson with liner to assure
  that vacuum is good with the liner
• If vacuum worse than 10-7 we cant install liners
  at F0
• We are working with Bruce Hanna to get equipment
  at MI-60 to do full vacuum test
• Also measure impedance after vacuum bake out

Conclusions

• We have schedule for preparation and installation
  that fits with time constraints
• We will test installation and vacuum before we
  commit to installation
• There is slack time to make up for delay caused
  by any problems
