Say no to Heathrow growth
Brent Council and Heathrow Twelve other London
councils have stated publicly that they oppose
the expansion of Heathrow. However, Brent Council
has says it has no plans hold a public meeting to
discuss this with residents. Public
meeting Brent Friends of the Earth will be
holding a public meeting at Willesden Green
Library on 21st February at 7.30pm. Speakers to
include Sarah Teather (Brent East MP). See

• The proposed creation of a third runway at
  Heathrow will result in
• increased noise
• increased road traffic and air pollution
• increased greenhouse gas emissions
• increased risk of accidents above our homes

• Contrary to statements by the Government and BAA
• the runway is not necessary for the sake of our
  economy
• the extra greenhouse gases can not be offset
  elsewhere.

• What you can do
• Sign the petition at our street stalls or
  online www.stopheathrowexpansion.com
• Respond to the official consultion by simply
  saying No Heathrow Expansion to
  heathrowconsultation_at_dft.gsi.gov.uk (dont
  forget to include your name and address).
• Write to your MP and ask for their support in
  blocking the expansion
