Duty of Care for Students The day-to-day
responsibility for health and safety management
rests with students supervisors, lecturers and
managers who have input to the Deans, Heads of
School, and Directors on matters of systems and
resources needed to ensure that the Schools or
Units activities are conducted in a safe manner.
Students who have concerns regarding health and
safety matters should contact their supervisors
or managers in the first instance. Specific
responsibilities for student safety are detailed
in the document OHS and Welfare Objectives and
Responsibilities located through the student
