• Committee MISSION
• The Building a Healthier Chicago Worksite
  Wellness Committee strives to support Chicagoland
  employers in improving the health and
  productivity of their populations
• Committee OBJECTIVES
• Educate Chicagoland employers of the BHC
  initiative to promote physical activity, healthy
  eating, and detection, prevention, and control
  of high blood pressure
• Identify and share current best practices for
  worksite wellness
• Identify resources, tools, and implementation
  strategies to support worksite wellness
  programs
• Recognize and support the efforts of employer
• participants in worksite wellness activities

Launch

• Sub-committee will focus on launch event,
  marketing, and media plan sub-committee

• Mission Ensure as many Chicagoland employers
  are aware of and participate in the BHC WW
  Employer Assessment
• Objective Engage, educate, and encourage
  Chicagoland employers (and other stakeholders)
  to participate in the BHC WW Employer
  Assessment
• create a marketing plan, including media kit
  and both short-term and long-term steps
• engagement of as many employers as possible
  from January to April (BHC Conference)
• engagement of non-employers as partners in
  promotion

  Chicagoland employers worksite wellness
  efforts based on the WW Employer Assessment
  questions
• Recognize award winners at the BHC Annual
  Conference, April 7-8, 2010
