Polygons
are closed figures that have straight sides.
3
triangles
Triangles
are three sided polygons.
This triangle is made up by the two poles and the
ground.

SQUARES
Squares are quadrilaterals with four equal sides.
A square also has to have 4 right angles.
This playground picture of a 2 square board
creates a square.
5
RECTANGLE
A rectangle is a quadrilateral with two pairs of
parallel lines.
This playground picture is of a rectangle made by
the bars.
6
RHOMBUS
A rhombus is a quadrilateral with no right
angles, but two pairs of parallel lines.
This fence is creating a rhombus with the wires.

REFLECTION
What I learned so far in math is all basic
geometry. We learned about polygons and angles
and 3D shapes. I learned about 2D shapes also.
We learned about quadrilaterals, the four sided
polygon. We also learned a lot about Power Point
and cameras and how to insert pictures. I really
had fun so far, but now were getting ready for
the test. I am sad that we cant do more on
polygons and everything else, but theres
everything else to learn in math.
MATH IS FUN!
