had to obey.

Ephesians 24 5
  • But God, being rich in mercy, because of His
great love with which He loved us, even when we
were dead in our transgressions, made us alive
together with Christ (by grace you have been
    saved)

9
Ephesians 28 9
  • For by grace you have been saved through faith
and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of
God not as a result of works, that no one should
    boast.

Does dipping in water save us, or is it Gods
power and grace?

James 217 - 20
  • Faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by
itself. But someone may say, "You have faith,
and I have works show me your faith without the
works, and I will show you my faith by my works."
  • You believe that God is one. You do well the
demons also believe, and shudder. But are you
willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that
    faith without works is useless?

12
Mark 1616
  • He who has believed and has been baptized shall
be saved but he who has disbelieved shall be
    condemned.

13
Acts 238
  • Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you
be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the
    forgiveness of your sins.

14
Acts 2216
  • Arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins,
    calling on His name.'
