- Type 0 To express universal truth
- Type 1 To express present or future
activities which are true or likely - Type 2 To express present or future
activities which are impossible or unlikely
to happen - Type 3 To deal with past situations

- Form Present tense, Present tense
- The conjunction IF can be replaced by
WHEN - e.g. a. If we ice under the sun, it melts
quickly. - b. When we ice under the sun, it
quickly.

may) - e.g. If it rains tomorrow, we will not go on a
picnic. - If it should rain tomorrow, we will not go on
