Research Context Methods

• Teachers under pressure to prepare students to
  perform well on a high stakes standardized test
  often focus more on the what of content than on
  the how of learning.
• Will the pedagogy the training consultants model
  change the best practices of the institute
  participants?
• Pre/Post series of surveys will be used to
  collect data on participants best practices.
  Consultants will be surveyed on modeling used and
  in response to final best practices submitted one
  year later.

• Pre-Institute Survey narrative paragraph
  description of pedagogy check list of practices
  used. Submit Best Practice for institute
  sharing.
• Post-Institute Survey reflective paragraph on
  implementation check list of practice
  possibilities identify a specific practice from
  institute to use.
• Mid-Year Survey narrative on pedagogy changes
  check list of practices used revision of new
  practice planned
• End of Year Survey narrative on how pedagogy
  was changed or enriched check list of practices
  used submit Best Practice.
