- You are responsible for solicitation efforts
within your agency. - It is YOU who sets the tone for THE ASK
- You are responsible for inspiring your co-workers
- It is YOU who will show others the importance of
CFC - You are the backbone of the CFC

- Meet with your Agency Head.
- Analyze past campaign performance.
- Recruit and train Key Workers.
- Distribute individual goals to Key Workers.
- Promote the CFC internally.
- Order campaign materials and incentives.

- Collect and verify all Audit Envelopes
- Note for your records donor incentive and
leadership recognition preferences - Send Copy 1 of Pledge form to Payroll office

- Implement thank you and recognition program for
donors and volunteers. - Publicize results via e-mail or flyers etc.

- Advise that your campaign could get a significant
boost from his/her support - Letter to staff in support of CFC and Campaign
goal - Attendance at Campaign Events
- Inform of campaign schedule and timelines
- No event should be a surprise

12Key Worker Selection
- A volunteer is essential.
- The person should be positively motivated and
properly trained to represent CFC. - The person needs to have time to contact each
individual assigned. - The person should be confident in making THE
ASK.

- Training is not optional
- Schedule when greatest number of Key Workers are
available - Determine who will conduct training
- Coordinator, Loaned Ambassador, or combination of
both - Give Key Workers specific goals
- Dollar amounts
- Donor numbers
- Specific Increases

- Chosen by the Incentive Committee.

22Kick-offs and Solicitations
- Every agency should plan a kick-off event.
- Coordinate your kick-off with your Agency Head.
- Contact your Loaned Ambassador.
- Request an Charitable Agency Speaker.
- Announce and advertise to your co-workers.
- Have food and have fun!
23Charity Speakers and Fairs
- Work with your assigned Loaned Ambassador to
coordinate speakers at your solicitation
meetings/kick-offs and to plan agency fairs. - All large federal agencies and federal buildings
should plan an Agency Fair. - Advertise and announce as far in advance as
possible.
24Loaned Ambassador Duties
- Support Coordinator and Key Worker efforts
- Deliver supplies and campaign materials
- Obtain weekly campaign updates from agencies
- Schedule speakers and assist with campaign events
- Pick up audit envelopes
