• John Rauch was very in love with Shannon
  Sullivan. (Thats me.)

In fact, he wanted to marry her. (And dont act
surprised.) Problem was, the enigmatic Shannon
(yes, me again) was so hard to figure out.

• Whatever was John Rauch to do? Should he ask
  Shannon to marry him or not?

Ending 1 (The Sad Ending)

• John chickens out. He counts himself lucky that
  he got to know such a fabulous person and moves
  on.
• Too bad, John, because Shannon really DID love
  you and would have made you the happiest man in
  the world. (No laughing.)
• John made an ERROR ? He failed to detect the
  mutual feelings!

Ending 2 (The Sort-of Happy Ending)

• John chickens out. He counts himself lucky that
  he got to know such a fabulous person and moves
  on.
• Good thing, because Shannon would have turned him
  down anyway. She found someone a lot richer and
  better-looking.
• Way to go John, you made the CORRECT decision! ?
  The feelings were not mutual and you knew it!

Ending 3 (The Mega-Tragic Ending)

• John buys a diamond ring and plans a romantic
  day. The day culminates with a proposal on one
  knee in front of friends and strangers in the
  Saint Louis Art Museum.
• Shannon says, Sorry, John, but no way.
• Uh-oh, John, you made a big time ERROR! ? You
  thought the feelings were mutual, but they
  werent! Now youre embarrassed, angry, and out
  148.99 for a ring. (It was from Walmart.)

Ending 4 (The Special Valentines Day True
Ending)

• John buys a diamond ring and plans a romantic
  day. The day culminates with a proposal on one
  knee in front of friends and strangers in the
  Saint Louis Art Museum.
• Shannon says, Of course Ill marry you!
• Way to go, John, you made a CORRECT decision ?
  You thought the feelings were mutual and they
  were! Now you can be the happiest man on earth.
  (I said no laughing.)
