PURPOSE AND SCOPE To develop a draft
Sustainability Academic Strategy for UBC-V and
UBC-O, by consulting widely to formulate a
living planning process that fosters continuous
development and refinement

- 6 month initiative, which will serve as the
vehicle to outline the scope, process and desired
outcome for developing the draft strategy - Report through the Presidents Advisory Council
Sustainability (PAC-S) to the Provost - UBC Sustainability Office to provide operational
support

- EXPECTED OUTCOMES
- Delivery of a comprehensive draft strategy for
existing and future teaching, research and
demonstration of sustainability at UBC,
including - Procedural vision for sustainability
- Identification of priority areas
- Propose a procedure for ongoing implementation
and improvement in curriculum, research and
operations.
