• Everyone has differences in their genes, its
  just part of what makes you special, but very
  occasionally a difference in someones genes can
  cause a problem with the way their body works.
  When this happens its called a genetic
  disorder.
• About 1 in every 33 children born have a genetic
  disorder thats about the same as one in every
  class in this school.  Many of these conditions
  have no current treatment and many more have no
  cure. The children and families affected by these
  conditions are the reason why we donated money
• These are just some of the children who will be
  helped by the money this school raised. Just
  like you and me, each of these children have
  differences in their genes that help to make each
  of them unique. But even though some of them
  might look a little different from you, and in
  some ways their bodies might work a little
  differently from yours, its important to
  remember that deep down were all pretty similar.
