Sino-US medical professionalism study and
supported by the Medical Professionalism Center
of Columbia University and the section of medical
ethics of Peking University Health Science
Center. - It was also assisted by Medical Humanities
of Shangxi Medical University, the Medical Ethics
Institute of Shandong University Health Science
Center, Associate Professor Cheng Gang in Fudan
University in Shanghai and Professor He Yuming
in Shanghai Chinese Medicine University.
31?The objective
- The patients are subjects of the
medical professionalism (MP), and their
reflection and perspectives are important basis
to evaluate MP. - This research has analyzed the
understandings of patients about medical
professionalism in medical service currently. It
provides guidance for the construction of MP.
42?The research design
- (1) We choose 10 cities of three types
as the survey domains according to the economical
level Beijing, Shanghai, Dalian, Wuhan, Chengdu,
Xian, Taiyuan, Jinan, Zunyi, and Fushun. In
every city there are 200 patients, and the total
specimen of questionnaire is 4000 patients. -
5- (2)The pre-survey was conducted before the
survey, which aimed to make the questionnaire
scientifically,optimize the environment and
prepare the outline of the questionnaire. - 3?Training the investigator according to an
unified requirements. - 4?The final report will be completed in 2008,
and the special research report will be finished
in March, 2009.
