Click Job Announcements. This page also
provides other data and forms for Technician Jobs.

Click the blue link by the Job Number to see the
job information. Some job forms are provided in
the top right corner.

Click Job Announcements.

Open Technician Announcements on USA Jobs will
show what jobs are currently out and a link to
them. You can also get many other useful links
and documents for technician jobs.

Go to http//www.usajobs.gov/ and you will see
this screen. Click Search Jobs to start
searching for jobs that are currently out there.

In the Keyword Search box enter Iowa National
Guard. You can be as general or specific as you
want in the search. Click Search for Jobs at
the bottom to see your results.

Now you can browse through the Job Announcements.
Click on the link to see more information on the
job.

Notice the job information in red.

You can use the Five tabs above the job
announcement to skip to another location in the
job announcement. The Duties and
Qualifications Evaluations areas will give
you an idea if youre qualified for a job.

Click on the Duties tab and you will see some
things expected after accepting the job.

In the Qualifications Evaluations section you
will see how many months of experience is
required. After looking over this, you should be
able to determine whether you can do this job or
not.

If you go to the bottom of the Job Announcement
you will see three buttons, (Apply Online,
Print Preview, and Email A Friend). Click on
Apply Online to create or send a resume built
or stored on USA Jobs. If you are not using a
resume from USA Jobs, (i.e. OF 612), proceed to
Application Manager to upload documents and fill
out the required Questionnaire.
