  at UBC will produce a performance art piece for
  the birds using only fowl language and winging it
  where necessary, our flighty performers
  dropping down from the OME will break into
  eggsellent song. Having seeded this pate, we will
  sit back, record the performance and sell it as
  UBC CS Ducktape Capt. Duke the Puck Date
  pocketing 11 to 13 of the proceeds and balancing
  the budget with the rest. Well send the bill for

Whereas the Dept. of Computer Science has an
Infinite Maw of consumption of fiscal resources,
Whereas science funding has not yet starved out
that for the arts completely, Whereas the
Department has inadequately prostituted itself
with corporate sponsorship, Therefore be it
resolved, That the Dept. shall expand its funding
base in 2006 by mounting an architectural based
macro-installation, co-branded with Christo,
wherein the façade of the new CS building be
wrapped, using an initial approximant of the
infinite Peano space-filling curve with Duck Tape
brand silvery-gray adhesive utility tape. That
the Dept. shall obtain both government and
private foundation arts grants to support the
development of the open source aesthetic
framework enabled by the unique affordances of
the Duck Tape material That the Dept. shall grant
Platinum sponsorship to Duck Brands, the proud
manufacturer of DUCKTAPE brand, silvery-gray
adhesive utility tape, and, in recognition of
their significant monetary support, shall grant
Duck Brands logo rights, with the mark of their
choice to appear on all presentations made by
members of the Department. That the Department
shall license all derivative media and all
intellectual property rights pertinent
