3The eMobility Platform
- eMobility is an EU Technology Platform which aims
at reinforcing Europe's leadership in mobile and
wireless communications and services, which have
created unprecedented possibilities for people to
communicate and have become a key driver of
economic growth. eMobility shall master the
future development of this technology, so that it
best serves Europe's citizens and the European
economy. - Source http//www.emobility.eu.org/GA1/Rahim_over

7European Technology Platform NANOMEDICINE
- Nanomedicine exploits the improved and often
novel physical, chemical and biological
properties of materials at the nanometer scale.
Nanomedicine has the potential to enable early
detection and prevention, and to essentially
improve diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of
diseases.

9European Technology Platform NANOMEDICINE
- Seamlessly connecting Diagnostics,and Targeted
Delivery and Regenerative Medicine - Diagnostics, targeted delivery and regenerative
medicine constitute the core disciplines of
nanomedicine. The European Technology Platform on
NanoMedicine acknowledges and wishes to actively
support research at the interface between its
three science areas. It is committed to
supporting such activities as theranostics, where
nanotechnology will enable diagnostic devices and
therapeutics to be combined for a real benefit to
patients.

10The European Space Technology Platform (ESTP)
- One of the objectives of the ESTP is-
- To enhance and cross-fertilise technology
(promote multiple-use and spin-in) by - Developing synergies between the ESTP and other
related non-space Technology Platforms (eg. in
the areas of photovoltaics, fuel-Cells,
materials, nanotechnologies and nano-systems,
telecommunications, etc) - Promoting join upstream research on technologies
of dual-use (civil and security/defence)
