Membership
  • Three individuals from each region/district of
    the state will constitute the Recovery Peer
    Advisory Council (RPAC). Alternatives
    Additional Growth
  • The membership will be reflective of the
    population served by the Office for Addictive
    Disorders (OAD).
  • All addictions treated by OAD will be represented
    by the Council as well as family members who have
    been impacted by addiction.
  • The LITS-COSIG Client Advisory Board is being
    integrated into the Advisory Council

Roles of the RPAC
  • The RPAC will advise the Office for Addictive
    Disorders (OAD) on matters related to addiction
    and recovery needs and serve as a voice for the
    recovering community. (OAD Guiding Principles)
  • The RPAC will also work very closely with the OAD
    Community Relations Coordinator at State Office
    and the local Regional/District Treatment Alumni
    Associations.
  • The RPAC would serve as the fiscal intermediary
    for peer-to-peer recovery grants through
    Substance abuse Mental Health Service
    Administration (SAMHSA) and assist in the
    establishment of recovery support centers
    throughout the state.
