Impact of EMA Programmes on National Results
  • The attainment of Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Black
    African and Black Caribbean pupils has risen and
    the gaps in attainment are narrowing.
  • Evidence from targeted schools shows a higher
    than average rate of progress.
  • In 2006 at KS2 L4 Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Black
    African and Black Caribbean pupils all scored
    below national averages in English and Maths
    signficantly wider in Maths for all these groups
