Large Grants(in addition to the common
components, large grants have the following

• 1. Detailed instructions
• 2. Specific forms to fill out
• 3. More rigorous proof of experience of PIs
• 4. Proof of success with previous grants

  collaborate with the larger research institutions
  and maintain that collaboration
• 6. Extensive review of literature that is kept up
  to date

Large Grants

• Even though Large Grants look menacing, with a
  division of labor between a group of
  collaborators who have a plan for a well thought
  out project, a large grant is not so different
  from a small grant.
• A large grant just takes longer to write!
