• One course from each of the following areas
• Theories and concepts of health
• Programs in School Health
• Programs in Community Health
• Curriculum Development and Evaluation in Health
  Education

II. Health Education Content Component Totaling
10-14 hours

• Required One course shall be required from each
  of the following
• Human Sexuality or Sex Education
• Drug/Chemical Use and Abuse

• Elective At least two courses shall be taken
  from the following
• Mental/Emotional Health
• Environmental Health
• Disease Prevention and Control
• Nutrition and Dietary Patterns
• Consumer Health
• Safety and Injury Control
• Personal Health Practices
