About Hope4Heroes

• Started in late 2007 as a veterans outreach and
  counseling organization with a few volunteers
• Has grown in a little over a year to a 501c3 with
  over 29,000 members
• Free to join, peer-to-peer based
• HQ is in Military City USA San Antonio, TX

LEGISLATIVE ACTION CENTER

• Host the national helping agencies summit to
  develop solution centered options for issues
  facing veterans and families. Take lead and work
  with the VA, Congress and the Administration to
  tackle the hard problems!

BENEVOLENT PROGRAMS

• Our goal for 2009 is to give
• 10 Scholarships
• Raise 1,000,000 for emergency aid
• Conduct the first annual heroes vacation
• Host the annual helping agency summit
• Scheduled for June 18-20, 2009

  Capt George Burk, Plan Crash and Burn Survivor,
  Author and Vietnam Veteran

Goals

• Recognize the dedication and sacrifice of our
  Veterans and family members.
• Focus on various support agencies and resources
  available to assist our Veterans with Post
  Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain
  Injury (TBI), deployment, disabilities, financial
  aid and to the various VA and VSO organizations. 
• Citizens of the Western Rocky Mountain Region
  recognize the opportunities that exist to assist
  our Heroes who have sacrificed so much.
• Raise funding to support the above goals.

  deployed Guard members)
