14What is a learning platform?
- Software that is designed for delivery of content
in a classroom. - Examples include Microsoft Class Server, Web CT,
Blackboard, Moodle, eCollege, and Angel.
15What are the advantages of a learning platform?
- Gives you more control and freedom over designing
materials. You can put in your own questions,
pictures, graphs, etc. - Students can open an assignment, do the work, and
submit it to you in one window. - Most offer features that make grading easier and
you can put in comments for individual feedback.
