basketball coach, with more than 600 victories at
NC State

- 333 of the 600 student-athletes earned a 3.0 GPA
or higher in 2004, earning scholar-athlete
recognition from NC State. - 183 student-athletes made the ACC Honor Roll
with GPAs of at least 3.0 for 2003-04 - NC State leads the ACC in the number of student
athletes who have won ACC postgraduate
scholarships (27 since 1997)
