Lesson 1

• Example 8/15 3/4 ?
• When you are given two fractions that you have
  to divide you invert the fraction you are
  dividing by and then you multiply the two
  fractions.
• So 8/15 3/4 8/15 X 4/3
• 8 x 4 32
• 15 x 3 45

• Dividing fractions with number is practically the
  same thing as dividing simple fractions except
  you first have to turn the fraction into an
  improper fraction.
• Example 61/8 57/10 57/8 57/10
• 57/8 X
  10/57
• 10/8 or 11/4

  multiply all the fractions by their reciprocal.
  (except for the first one)
• Example 1/3 2/7 1/4
• 1/3 x 2/7 x 1/4
• 1 x 7 x 4 28 14
