One of the primary roles for any Board of
Directors is to plan for the organization's
future. Planning allows an organization to be
proactive and to strategically address future
opportunities and challenges.
Topics of this workshop include ?Thinking
strategically, ?Detailing program, corporate and
financial goals and objectives, ?Understanding
the roles and responsibilities of the Board and
executive staff in strategic planning,
?Monitoring progress. 
Presenter Frank Martinelli has over 25 years of
experience with nonprofit community-based groups
and public agencies, providing consultation in
strategic planning, board development, volunteer
management and community organizing.
FEE 35 (includes light supper, which will be
served beginning at 515 pm,and materials).
