At School
  • Kids would stand up when a teacher entered the
    room.
  • Kids respected Teachers by not pulling pranks on
    them.
  • Library books like all things borrowed were
    treated better than ones toys at home.

At Home
  • Kids would help set the table for dinner.
  • Kids did homework just after getting home from
    school.
  • Music, literature and games were often taught by
    a parent or guardian.

Out About
  • Boys like all gentlemen would open a door for a
    Lady.
  • Girls wouldnt leave the house to visit or go
    places without a pair of gloves.
  • When entering a building the boys would remove
    ones hat.
  • Girls would remove gloves before eating.

When Traveling
  • To keep good clothing clean all travelers usually
    wore dark clothing.
  • Toys like reading material were shared with other
    kids traveling.
  • For safety kids stayed close to the adult or
    adults they are traveling with.
