• Web application with user interface for the
  NR-GIS Metadata Database and NR-GIS Data Server
• Pathway to the NPS GIS Clearinghouse in NPS Focus

• Houses FGDC compliant Metadata records in XML
  format
• Provides links to download data from the NR-GIS
  Data Server or another server on which the data
  is posted

• An extension to the FGDC Metadata Standard
• Allows for NPS specific information to be stored
  in the Metadata record
• Is required for all records uploaded to the Data
  Store
• Information requested on upload if missing
