Itroduction
  • Hurricanes are amazing but destructive forces.
    Hurricanes are beautiful and constructive types
    of wind and water that are dangerous but unique.

What Makes A Hurricane
  • 1. Humid air above the water rises and makes the
    stormclouds.
  • 2.Seawater has to be above 80 degrees.
  • 3.Then air coming to the storm spot is pushed
    upward. Next it flows above the storm and when
    the air is in the middle of the storm, it grows
    and moves closer to land.

  • The famous hurricane ill be talking about is
    hurricane Katrina. Its famous because it did so
    much damage that the news cant stop talking
    about it.

  • Did you know that hurricanes are the strongest
    type of wind? The Chinese call hurricanes
    typhoons. And did you know that hurricanes are
    large developed cyclones? The Australians call
    hurricanes willy-willys.

  • Did you know hurricanes can move up to 74 miles
    per hour? But the maximum speed for a hurricane
    is 155 knots( 165 miles per hour).

  • Hurricanes are cyclones that devolop over sea and
    have sustained excess winds up to 64 knots (74
    miles). These storms are capable of producing
    dangerous wind, torrential rain and mass
    flooding.

  • To survive a hurricane you have to leave the town
    that is in the hurricane spot. But if you cant
    leave, get to high ground or a waterproof place.

  • To get away from a hurricane you first of all
    must go to your car. Next, you drive out of the
    hurricane spot. Then when you get out of town go
    to a relatives and wait out the storm.

    scale it by the damage and strength. The
    strongest hurricanes are level 5 the weakest
    hurricanes are level 1.
