  • 3rd grade classroom in any Connecticut Town
  • A lesson plan that can be covered over a 5 day
    week and used as an integrated language arts and
    social studies/geography lesson

  • Students will work cooperatively to understand
    that unique and different cultures are connected
    by shared values and themes (Kagan Cooperative
    Learning Course workbook 2000, James A. Banks,
    Approaches to Multicultural Reform 2004).

    Cinderella genre, and use text structure, such as
    story elements, to help understand that genre
