  please tell my brother to divide our father's
  estate with me." Jesus replied, "Friend, who
  made me a judge over you to decide such things as
  that?" Then he said, "Beware! Don't be greedy
  for what you don't have. Real life is not
  measured by how much we own"

• And he gave an illustration "A rich man had a
  fertile farm that produced fine crops. In fact,
  his barns were full to overflowing. So he said,
  I know! I'll tear down my barns and build bigger
  ones. Then I'll have room enough to store
  everything. And I'll sit back and say to
  myself, My friend, you have enough stored away
  for years to come

  wealth but not have a rich relationship with God

• 2. Live for Something Greater Than Right Now
• "The God who made the world and everything in it
  is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live
  in temples built by hands. And he is not served
  by human hands, as if he needed anything, because
  he himself gives all men life and breath and
  everything else

• From one man he made every nation of men, that
  they should inhabit the whole earth and he
  determined the times set for them and the exact
  places where they should live. God did this so
  that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for
  him and find him, though he is not far from each
  one of us - Acts 1724-27

• If I dont see God as the source of all I am and
  all I have, then I become unconnected to the call
  of God to live for something greater than myself

• he must work, doing something useful with his
  own hands, that he may have something to share
  with those in need - Ephesians 428
• God gives us what we have with the expectation
  that it wont all stay with us and be spent only
  on ourselves

• The moment I make temporary things the basis of
  my life or the foundation for my joy, I begin to
  live for right now. And it keeps me from living
  for something greater than myself

• God designed each one of us in such a way that we
  experience the best of life only when we live for
  something greater than ourselves

• Whats the hardest part of my life to let God
  take hold of?
• Am I willing right now to say yes to God?
