LAS VEGAS COAL SHOW 2000
Design of Prototype FreedomTM Car starts late in
July 2000. Prototype FreedomTM Car is displayed
in 2000 Las Vegas Coal Show. Prototype receives
MSHA approval in Sept 2001 in time for Bluefield
Coal Show. Prototype enters production in local
coal mine in October 2001. Prototype works well
and is returned to Phillips for Motor and
Electronics upgrades. Prototype begins a series
of demonstration trials and is in production
today at Consols Emery Mine in Utah.

CHASSIS DESIGN

• New heavy-duty frame construction utilizing

• Simplified frame design eliminates the discharge
