  them educationally and financially in completing
  their degree programs.

Terms of Employment

• All TA/RAships must involve work that relates
  significantly to the students academic program.
• Support should ordinarily be offered for 2 years
  for masters students, and 4 or 5 years for
  doctoral students depending on the program and
  student level.
• TA s and RA s will ordinarily be offered
  positions for 9 (the academic year), or 12 months
  depending on funding.
• TA/RA s will ordinarily be appointed for 20
  hours/week (50 time), making them eligible for
  medical/insurance benefits and for non-resident
  tuition waivers for themselves and their
  dependents.
