• Adding drops to achieve 6 drops per classroom

  top-of-the-line Cisco switching equipment
• Netware Upgrades
• All sites will have adequate licenses
• OS upgraded to latest version(enhanced features)

• Moving to MPLS network
• Bellsouth becomes ISP instead of MDE
• MDE ends local district network support
• Implementing Metro-Ethernet
• Metro-E path to the internet
• Currently, each site operates on T1 line (1.5
  Mbps)
• With Metro-E, high schools will operate at 50
  Mbps and elementaries at 10Mbps
• Bellsouth will be laying infrastructure for this
  at your sites
• Advantages A lot faster! A little cheaper!
  Capacity for the future!

• Daily average accounts for 75 of 9-weeks average
• Daily average shall consist of tests, quizzes,
  labs, projects, homework, and classwork
• Major tests account for 25 of 9-weeks average
• Teachers will administer at least 3 unit tests
  each 9-weeks
• Elementary MCT Check-point tests will be
  recorded as a unit test
