  research one of the most important battles, The
  Battle of Gettysburg.

• First click on the START button at the bottom
  left of the screen,
• then open INTERNET EXPLORER.

• Once you have opened the internet highlight the
  website in the ADDRESS BAR.
• After you have the text highlighted type in
  www.yahooligans.com then press
• ENTER or the GO button.

• After you have arrived at yahooligans.com click
  in the search box in the middle of the page.
• Click in the box and type in Gettysburg and press
  ENTER or click on SEARCH.

  following link
• Once you have found it click on the link with
  your mouse.

Searching Specifics

• Sometimes when we search we want to find very
  specific results. For example if you were
  searching for the Civil War and typed Civil War
  in your search bar you would get results with the
  words Civil, War, and Civil War. If you wanted
  only the websites with the phrase Civil War
  together then you would use quotes and put Civil
  War. This would only bring up sites with the
  words Civil War together.

Citing Resources

• Citing resources is an important tool to use
  when doing research. Citing is when we give
  credit to a source, such as the internet or a
  book, in which we have used information or a
  picture. For the internet there is a specific
  form we are to use called MLA format. The format
  is as follows.
• Title of Webpage, Institution, Organization.
  Date. .
• Example
