Project Overview

• This presentation was designed as a resource for
  parents, teachers, and students to help ensure
  that students successfully meet the Math
  SMART(Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic
  Tangible) goal for the third nine weeks.
• Students in grades 6-8 are expected to understand
  both metric and customary systems of measurement
  understand relations among units and be able to
  convert from one unit to another within the same
  system and understand, select, and use units of
  appropriate size. They should also be able to
  select appropriate measurement tools, apply
  appropriate techniques, tools, and formulas, and
  choose appropriate levels of precision.
