the office aid out to the hallway.

Awww man! Not the hallway! I must be in trouble.
Ive never gotten a note from the office. I cant
believe all of this for passing a note.
I dont know what to think. Maybe my mom is just
here to pick me up early.
Why does it seem like everyone is looking at me?

Welcome, Everyone! Im sure most of you are
wondering what you are doing in this class. Well,
you have all been chosen to participate in the
Gifted/Talented Program.
You all are the brightest of bright and this
class is designed to cater to your academic needs!

The students in the G/T classroom are working
with puzzles and games designed to challenge the
way they think. Tiffany is simply going through
the motions with the other students, but is
struggling with the idea of being labeled as a
smart kid. She is concerned about what Leslie,
her best friend, will think.

Well, I didnt get in trouble. I dont even think
Mrs. Bryant knew we were passing notes!
Girl, where have you been? What happened when you
went in the hallway? I thought you were going to
be in so much trouble. So come on, tell me all
about it!
The office aid took us to another classroom
called Gifted/Talented. We played with puzzles
and stuff. I guess they think Im smart.

picked to go to this G/T class. Im sure you will

think, but Im glad that you are happy for me.
